Hi

I have been given a batch of photographs.

The size they have been given to me in is:

portraits
width: 2848 pixels
height: 4288
res: 72dpi

landscape
width: 3203 pixels
height: 2127
res: 72dpi.

They are obviously too large and don't fit in the browser.
Yet when I try to edit them with the image size facility, to say 500 x 150 they shrink down so small you can hardly see what is going on in the photo.

I have messed about with the constraints and the dpi but none of this seems to work.

Can anybody help please?

Karen Clarke

You need to zoom back in using the zoom tool otherwise the image is tiny on the screen after you re-size anything.
